Rendezvous: To assemble or meet at a particular place.
A meeting by appointment. --Sprat.
Source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913).

I was thrilled when Jeffrey Whitmore gave me the okay to adapt his "Bedtime Story" to the screen. Inspired by his 55-word story, I aimed to write an equally efficient screenplay. I tailored the picture to the locations that I had access to: an art deco elevator, an apartment, and a street corner. Then I trimmed down the script until I had the least amount of shots and spare dialogue --just enough to tell an engaging story.
